An ode to the lush beauty of a secret garden, Il Giardino is an enchanting new home fragrance collection for a fresh, clean and sophisticated atmosphere. Available in a Luxury Candle, Scented Drawer Liners and with a Room Spray coming soon, this verdant gateway is perfumed with wild jasmine, the creamy sweetness of magnolia and bright gardenia still damp with rain.
Winding through the garden, an earthen path beckons onwards, infused with the promise of adventure; this is an uplifting scent that soothes the mind as it invigorates the senses. But there’s also a magical sense of nostalgia woven into its fabric, a remembrance of carefree days gone by, when play and possibility could be found around every corner.
When creating Il Giardino, LUMIRA founder and creative director Almira Armstrong was inspired by the secret gardens she explored as a child.
“There’s something uniquely magical about a secret garden,” Armstrong says. “Whether it’s an overgrown hideaway or an urban sanctuary tucked away from a bustling city street, these gardens evoke a sense of wonder and invite us to step out of a busy day, even if only for a short time.
“Any time I come across a garden like this today, I’m immediately reminded of the carefree days of childhood, when I’d kick off my shoes and run barefoot on the grass.”
Like the gardens that inspired its composition, Il Giardino's scent invites a moment of pause and encourages the mind to wander, to explore, to be cleansed.
