Because we always feel our most youthful and beautiful on holidays, the fragrance opens with fresh, playful notes of juicy pear, green grape and fizzy blackcurrant, evoking the energy of Mallorca’s sunlit days. Then unfurls a lush bouquet of honeysuckle, peony and rose, reflecting the romance of the island’s rolling vineyards and blooming hillsides, basking in the heat of the day. In the dry down, soft musk and cedarwood form a warm, grounding base, reminiscent of Mallorca’s rugged terrain at sunset.
To craft the fragrance, Armstrong worked closely with renowned perfumer Florian Gallo of DSM Firmenich, who is known for his cutting-edge approach to perfumery.
“I envisioned a fresh and bright floral note, to give the idea of a sun-drenched summer day, explains Gallo, who used the proprietary ingredient Rose Taif Natureprint®, along with juicy fruity notes at the top to give a sense of playfulness. A heart of florals for a romantic touch, and warm, grounding notes of musk and cedar to evoke the comforting embrace of endless sunshine,” he adds.
